St. Patty's Day Folly

For my FAVORITE food holiday I hosted my uncle and his girlfriend who live in the same building as we do.   Of course I made corned beef and cabbage... The night before I made a Guinness cake using a recipe from Design Sponge.  I started baking this a little too late in the evening, 9:00pm is late for me! I also didn't take into account that I am not very equipped for this sort of thing as my kitchen is lacking some essential tools. I would highly recommend the recipe, neither me or my husband particularly likes chocolate cake and we both found it delicious!  Anyways, the proof is in the pictures.
